Maintaining Vendor Account


Maintaining Vendor Account
First open the preach tree

Than go open the maintain button

After open the maintain button than select the vendor option

Write vendor id and it name in upper section
Than in general tab there is a option of contact, account no address & telephone after writing in this tab.
Then go to the next tab of purchase defaults.

Than write the purchase account no in the it.  
Than open the customer field tab

Write any thing in these column





Than open history tab

Here you write vendor history, its purchase date & its payment
And also write last invoice date & last payment date
And the press Alt + S for save

Process Of Maintaining The Customer
First open the preach tree                                         
Then open the chart which u have made earlier
Then press the maintain button                                                                    
When you open the maintain button click on the customer/prospect
The box of customer /prospect will open                 
Write customer id & name                                           
And also write the contact, address &  telephone in general tab
                                                                                                
Now go to next tab of sales default                           
Write GL. sales Account or search from the chart
And then save it

How To Maintain Customer Default
First open preach tree                                         
Then select the maintain button
After Open the maintain button select the ‘default information’
Then in ‘default information’ select the ‘customers’ option
 Customer default window will open 
In customer default window there are few tab
Select the payment tab in this tab you can select your standard terms and mention your net dues, discounts %, and its days and also select its credit limit
In the lower section GL sales acc option is given double click it
Maintain chart of account will open in here write account id  and its description then select the account type an then save it
Then write the save id in GL sale account and also in discount GL account
Now click the account aging tab 
In the upper section there is two option given
1.       Invoice date
2.       Due date
Select the due date option in the lower section there are four column are given which have different option
Then select the customer field tab
In this tab you can write any thing in these 5 field that will show in maintain customer/prospect automatically
Now select the finance charging tab 
In this tab you can write charges
1.       Select the charge finance invoice
2.       On give the days, its interest rate, balance on above and it’s minimum finance charge
3.       Non check charge interest and write the GL account
4.       Now check print charge warning message
Then press the ok button
